Structured and Reliable Production and Inventory Manager Wanted (With an Appetite for Occasional Field Assignments)

Are you looking for a versatile workday where you take full ownership of production and inventory, while also getting out of the office to meet our customers?

For our small business in Hillerød, we are seeking a structured, reliable, and action-oriented employee. You will play a key role, independently driving our physical production and inventory management—and during quieter periods, stepping in or lending a hand with field tasks.

Primary Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the entire workflow from raw material to finished product and shipment. The tasks are typically distributed as follows:

  • Production & Quality: Responsible for daily production and manufacturing of our products, as well as ongoing quality assurance.
  • Inventory & Spare Parts Management: Receiving and registering raw materials, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. You will also be responsible for organizing the spare parts inventory, processing spare parts orders for customers, and ensuring critical wear parts are always in stock.
  • Purchasing & Planning: Ensuring we have the right raw materials and components available so that production and spare parts sales never grind to a halt.
  • Field Assignments (During Quieter Periods): Driving out to our customers to handle installation, assembly, or repairs of our products.
Personal and Professional Qualifications

It is crucial to us that you thrive working independently and can maintain an overview, even when juggling multiple tasks. We imagine that you:

  • Are highly structured and organized – you know exactly where things are and when it is time to reorder.
  • Are reliable, punctual, and take natural ownership of your areas of responsibility.
  • Are practical and handy (ideally with experience from similar production, warehouse, or assembly roles).
  • Are conscientious, can work independently, and are not afraid to take on responsibility.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license (Category B), as you must be able to drive our company vehicle to field assignments.
  • Speak and understand Danish and have basic computer skills for inventory logging.
  • Having skills in AutoCAD and blueprint/drawing reading is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Having a background in electrical engineering, mechanics, or steel is an advantage, but not a requirement.
What We Offer

We offer an informal workplace with short decision-making paths and great trust in your efforts. You will receive:

  • A high degree of freedom under responsibility, where you can influence and optimize the workflows in the warehouse.
  • A varied workday where you will not get stuck in the exact same routines.
  • Salary based on qualifications, as well as a company vehicle available for assembly assignments.
  • Working hours: Full-time (37 hours/week) based at our address in Hillerød.
